Hey, new teacher. I see you.
Are you in your first few years of teaching ninth or tenth grade English or ELD? If so, I have some units for you. My goal is to sell ready-made units that you can use as either a template for the text you are working with or a ready-to-teach starting point for your practice. I thought, “Imagine the teacher I would have been if someone had supported me like this when I started out!” I want you to reach your stride sooner with a high level of support and spend your preps planning extra teacher moves and sending positive phone calls home, not scrambling to throw together a lesson last minute or buying a sub-par plan from an untrustworthy source.

My units are standards-aligned and culturally relevant, with high expectations and high support. I spent hours of preps, weekends, and nights planning them. Good classroom management is built in including a place to revisit community agreements, put your seating chart, and teach short but meaningful S.E.L. strategies grounded in Nonviolent Communication and Restorative Practices. The unit follows the organized binder system and is set up for integration with Canvas or Google Classroom.

I received 3s and 4s on my evaluations teaching these units, and passed the CalTPA with them. And I’m selling them for only $5 for the first ten buyers!

Not only do you get a fully planned unit, including slides, worksheets, backwards design, and more, I promise you that I am available through email and TikTok to answer any questions you might have. As an emergent content creator, I am eager to use my platform to make helpful videos and so if you want me to go more in depth on any of the strategies used, just say the word!

I am so excited for you to blossom and thrive as a new teacher and create meaningful learning experiences for your students, while getting your afternoons and weekends back to pour into yourself. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns! I look forward to connecting with you.

Love,
Ms. G
